USE OF INFINITIVE FORM OF VERBS.

INFINITIVE: the verb in infinitive. 
YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THIS: the infinitive must go with  “TO” when we write the verb alone, without a sentence. However, we are going to see here the most important uses of this infinitive. Most of them, without to).
[Extra information: The real name of the verb without to is BASE VERB]
Example:               INFINITIVE VERB: to eat               BASE VERB: eat
DIFFERENT USES OF INFINITIVE
1. You usually use it in PRESENT SIMPLE. As you know, we use this tense to explain ROUTINES. For example: “I study English on Mondays

We use it with the ADVERBS OF FREQUENCY: Do you remember them? Here, you have the most common ones:

Remember that we write them before most of verbs. Except verb “to be”.
Example: “I always read books at night”
Example with verb “to be”: “I am always busy”.
2. We use it with “CAN As you know, we use this tense for ABILITY or PERMISSION. Here you have the main explanation:

3. We use it with "MUST" and “HAVE TO: important “have to” does NOT mean “tener”. It is used for OBLIGATION.
